Aspire One AOA150 wont update bios

Hello,
I have an Acer Aspire One AOA150 model and it wont boot. i began by disconnecting the power and battery and holding down the power button to completely discharge it. Once i did this, the netbook would charge, however when i tried to start it the power button would quickly flicker and the charging led would go off. ive tried the bios update many times however no luck :( any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

many failed BIOS updates will leave the computer nonfunctional afterwards. Only a computer repair shop tech can tell for sure.
