Headphone stopped working

Hello,


Headphone stopped working when i switched to external display in laptop with headphone connected. The same headphone is working with iPods and other devices, not with my laptop. Before switching to external display, it was working fine.
Any suggestion, please?

Hi ,

By external display you mean dvi,or hdmi?which type of cable was used?
