Hello,

I can not check for updates(error 80244019 and -2145107943=this one says' encountered an error while searching for updates') Second, When I try to download Windows 'FIX IT' I get error 8004FE2C. This is driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Leinad1945

This seems to be virus related

This should find trojan dns changer

Remove it

Now click on start menu and type

ncpa.cpl and press enter


Right click on your LAN or wireless icon-properties

Click on TCP/IP -properties

Make sure DNS and IP address has been configured to assign automatically.


Try to update now


For fixit error


Right click on the FIXIT and run it as administrator
