Water Damaged iPod nano, help !

Hello,

I have an iPod nano since 2009 and last year it accidentally fell into water. It didnt turn on for a while and when I checked this morning (2012) , it decided to turn on. I was quite happy because I was considering to buy another one but the only problem it has is that the track wheel of the nano does not work :( . I tried to reset it by holding the menu and select button but as the trackwheel doest work, this doesnt work lol. I tried restoring the iPod with iTunes but still the same, now its stucked on the languages selection menu. 15 minutes ago, i dont know what happened but the iPod went onto a music and was playing it, its kinda wierd. so can you guys help me about this?, thanks
