Ethernet controller

Hello,
HI,
I have just reinstalled windows XP professional in my PC which was infected by virus and i cannot access internet, network cable cannot connect help me please.

From device manager indicates all these are not installed, PCI Modem, PCI Decive,SM Bus controller, Video Controller. I would like to download the driver in the internet. the computer is Intel (r) D 935.

Please help

What is the make and model of your computer ?

What is the make and model of your Ethernet card ?

Does the card show in your device manager ?

P.S. At the bottom of your message, you show your OS as being Vista?

Model - Acer T 671
Ethernet Card - PCI ethernet controller ( Not Sure) How can i get the card no inside or on the board of the PC
No Card on the Device manager

This Windows xp i have installed in another computer

You have a Marvell Ethernet card

Go this page, go down, find lan driver, click on it.

http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=396

Download it on a Flash or pen drive and transfer it to the desktop.

Unzip the file and install the driver.

If it would not work on XP professional I would not had given the link to you. It will work on all Acer T671 equipped with a Marvell Ethernet card, regardless of the operating system.
