Please help!

My Gateway NV7802 will not boot up in Windows 7. I retrieved my files off the hard drive earlier, but still cannot make the system reboot or reformat. I have tried recovery disks, changing settings in F2 (changed startup order, made sure recovery partition is enabled, etc), attempted safe mode, normal startup, startup repair, and every other option in F6/F8- all of these take me back to the black screen of death. I also tried F10 and alt +F10 as recommended by worthless Gateway support, neither takes me past the boot screen. How do I reformat my hard drive and reinstall Windows? As far as I know my partition should be there, as I never deleted it.
