i am unable to install windows xp on my windows 7 computer. it always shows same message that the version of windows on my pc is newer than xp on my cd. Please help me.

I suggest you install XP as a second OS on your computer. You copy of XP does not contain the required hardware drivers for modern computers/motherboards. Please read this instructions:
