Hello,
I brought my crashed HD into Best Buy to get fixed and an absolutely clueless employee, not a tech, disassembled my HD near the cash register. Not knowing any better, I let him. I know have a ziplock bag of parts including my individual platters. Is there any hope? I know they have to be synched, but can they be read individually in a raw format?

Thanks

Sorry, The only way to get your data back is to send it to special data recovery lap that has a clean-room where they can reassemble your drive using a working drive for donor parts. That service costs in the four figure range.

I would talk to the Best BUY Manager since they should replace the drive.

Good Luck
