Help with Hibernation Mode [Closed]

Hello,

My wife was looking at a church website and up pops a "R" rated Youtube Video. Shed tried to close it but the computer locked. She turned it off and now the problem ... when I turn the computer on it fires up but after it starts goes directly to hibernate mode. I hit the power button and it comes back from the hibernation mode but then after it re-starts within 20 seconds in goes back into hibernation mode and the cycle continues. I tried the "hard start" with the battery out and unplugged with the power button down for 1 minute, restart ... no luck. Please help and thnak you.

Hello
Try to start your System in Safe Mode by pressing the F8 or F5 key depending on your laptop model and brand.

You can then check if the problem is really due to the Hibernation feature or Windows or (most probably) to a virus infection.
