Hello,

I have a query. I took my laptop with a blank screen to my coworker, and he did some

troubleshooting. He said that he took out one of the memory sticks, and bam, it worked.

He said I would need to replace one, being a 2 GB. So then I went down to Fry's, and

bought one. It didn't work, but he said the laptop worked without one of the memory

sticks. So I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what else I can do to fix the memory

issue.

Thanks.

Hello,

Try this 1

First make sure that the problem is with the RAM but not with its RAM slot.

If you have bought a RAM then make sure it matches with your working RAM in

terms of frequency and chipset technology.

Good Luck
