Can't connect with wire
Solved/Closed
Hello,
I seem to have the opposite problem. My pc connects wirelessly with no problem using cable modem and wrireless router. I was trying to troubleshoot a performance issue by connecting directly with a wire between the cable modem and the PC. I cant get it to connect using the wire. Am I missing something?
It seems like it should just connect!!
Thanks

What operating system are you using?
You might want to check and make sure that the Network Interface Card (NIC) on your computer is not disabled.
Does it show you as connecting at all (I.E. Connected w/ local access only) or no connection is registering at all?
