Speed up downloading with torrent

Hello,
i have dial up connection. down speed=15KBps and up speed=11KBps.
i am using u torrent 3.1.3, firefox 12, window7.
my download speed with u torrent is very slow however i tried many tricks from tutorials but all goes to no result.
please help me.
