Okay, so, my computer apparently downloaded a virus from I don't even KNOW where. And it keeps popping up as "Antivirus Soft" and saying things like "Application cannot be excuted. The file skypenames2.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" and it's a pain in the ass because everytime I close out of it, it pops up again saying the same thing but just a different program.
It won't let me use Microsoft, Safari, Internet Explorer, Yahoo Messenger, Skype or anything on my computer that is legitimately what I do in my free time instead of homework(Laugh here, because this is the only funny part in my message)
Not to mention that it's annoying as hell when Porno sites pop up on Internet Explorer and won't close. I don't watch porn. I don't hate people that do, I just think it's pretty much useless. Anyway, the Microsoft Update button on the taskbar is popping up several times("And I'm speaking of, ohhh, I don't know, atleast 30 or more?)
Anyway, I'm trying to do the fix that annoying Trojan with the website some of you have posted,

Okay, so I downloaded it, and tried to start it up. The Antivirus Soft attacked the living hell out of it.
Whoever made this godforsaken Trojan is a GENIUS. Because apparently they know how to annoy the living...
ANYWAY, I restarted my computer and ran a scan, thank god it would let me. The scan finished shortly and it said that it found two things, so when I clicked continue it all together STOPPED and closed out.
My computer is still infected, Porno sites are still popping up, these annoying little pop ups are still coming up, What the hell am I supposed to do? Chunk this 3 year old laptop out the door, say good riddence and go buy a Macbook? Grant it, that's what I want, but still. This was my only Christmas present 3 years ago, and I'm supposed to just give up? This SUCKS.

Hi Bob,
You do not have a Trojan Horse, so you may not get a valuable, helful answer on this thread. Please start a brand new thread and if possible include a Hyjackthis log.

I got a Trojan, too. But I followed what the others said, and soon the Trojan was deleted.

hey I have got severe trojen virus when I start windows there appears nothing but only the scan and get license option and I am also unable to install new windows after restart the old one with virus started

I dont know how to do this to I hope this works at least a little bit but what I done it go on to my computer click ANYTHING press delete if it just say yea or no leave it if it says the word viruses that all I say if bye bye too it then delete it out of the recyclein bin then if it says if u delete this summat on ur comuter will get broken then jus leave it else if u get rid of it like it says u wont have summat on ur computer n we dont know what that summat is buhh PSHHH I want it alll gone

Please specify which trojan and which worm, there specific methods depending on what is affecting your system.
Also specify the symptoms and your OS.
Important also include a Hyjackthis log.
Without these important information, help is impossible.

To answer your question, I live in an obscur modest search lab where to the sound of somber organ music I desect Trojan Horses while they are still breathing and screaming. I know, it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it! Experience also has plays a large role.
While you are there, so that you will not need to return on the viruses/security forum, do me a favor. Turn off your system restore for 45 seconds and turn it back on. Now create a new restore point which you can name...let say Ambucias. Now you will know that you have a safe point to return to in case of a problem.
