Cross on bttery sign

Hello,
someone plz help me guys..my laptop showing a cross on a sign of battery.....!
and indicating the message that "consider replacing your battery.
my laptop is only 7 or six months older and of HCL company i.e hcl me with i5 processor.
i don't no guys what to do plz help guys i dont want to replace my battery...........

Hello,

Try this 1

Remove the battery --> Plug the power cord and turn ON your laptop --> Then

shutdown your laptop and place the battery back into the laptop.

Hello,
Try this 1
1) First update your BIOS. Make sure you read all the instructions given in your manufacture's website regarding updating BIOS.
2) After updating the BIOS , install all the latest critical updates from Microsoft.
