Please help I took my laptop apart

Hello,

I took my dell laptop apart to remove battery. I put laptop back together just like I took it apart. And now when I push power the caps lock light flashes about 9 times while the power light and the one next to it is on when the caps light
stops flashing the the battery charge light blinks and the power button and the one next to it goes out.. I get no screen and the fan or anything dont run I can only hear the harddrive come on but quickly stops. Can some one please tell what this means??
