Comparing partial words in the same column

Hello,

How can I highlight cells that have repeated words in the same column. For example, in column A, I have words like AMC company, ABC company, ABC Industries. I want to highlight the first 5 characters that are common in the same column. Thanks

Hi Gufran,

Did you made a typo and meant the first 3 characters?

Could the following be a solution?:
Insert an extra column and use text to columns to split data using space as separator.
Now you can easily sort and color the three capital letters.
