Screen becomes blank when starting windows

Hello,
i am sravan, i am using windows 7. when i switch on my system my system starts booting and appears as starting windows and then suddenly my screen becomes blank. After 3 to 4 mins again my screen again appears and then asks for my system password and works smoothly. again when shut down it takes 3 to 4 mins..please help me to come out from this..

Hello,
Try this 1
1) When you switch ON your computer, start tapping the "F8" key to get
"Windows Advanced Options"( if boot menu appears, press "Esc" key and
keep tapping the F8 key)
2) Select the option "Enable low-resolution video".
Now if you are able to boot into Windows normally then update you Video Drivers.
