HARD DISK NOT EXIST

Hello,d motherboard of my pc was changed from compaq cq60 to hp g60 , after a month of dis change d hard disk cant b seen displayin d msg: no bootable device--insert boot disk n press any key. i ve tried bootin from a cd but no success. pls how do i get round dis?

Is your boot order set to boot to the hard drive first?

Is your hard drive IDE or SATA?

is your motherboard in the correct setting for the HDD?

is your IDE on the same channel as say your optical drive?
