Hello, my laptop is showing black screen on startup.... when i come on desktop after entering my account password, my desktop shows only blackscreen.. i think the reason behind this is a virus because before that black screen problem i had copied a file from a flash drive. so i think it's a virus problem. i am pissed now. when black screen comes i have to do lot of stuff for getting normal screen like>> open task manager>>> new task>> then i type in it explorer.exe>>> then my desktop comes. i want my asusual process of desktop like before. do you have any help or idea. exept that formatting. my laptop is compaq-620.- windows 7 ultimate. please give me a solution or give a reply on >>> email address removed<<< as fast as you can..????

Try removing the flash drive from your PC's USB slot before starting your computer.

Does that fix the issue?

Sometimes USB storage devices would obstruct the normal start up of Windows if they are plugged in to the computer.

dear friend just cool...
follow these steps. i think this will help you ...
after start yout lappy and starting explorer process..
then open cmd after that type- chkdsk /r /f press enter
it will ask u yes or no press y and press enter
after this process reboot your lappy normaly..
then it will check system tottaly while pc start up.
dont abort that process... it will say press any key to abort checking but
dont abort it .. it will check all system . it will take 30 to 50 minutes depending
on pc hardware....
after completing system check process ur pc start windows
that sit ur problem is solved ...
if the problem continues then insert windows 7 cd in pc and go to cmd
and type - sfc /scannow press enter
it will check all system files after reboot i have guranty ur problem is solved
