Hello,

Good day Sirs and Madams. I am a new member here. I just want to ask, why did my speakers(Logitech 2.1 speakers) suddenly stop working with my laptop... I have an Acer Aspire 5742.. But whenever I plug the speakers to a cellphone, it is working... What is the problem with my laptop? Thank you in advance.. I would really appreciate your help..

Hello,

I believe the problem may be due to a problem with the audio jack on your laptop. Try using another speaker to confirm if it is a problem with the jack. If it is, I would recommend taking it to an Acer dealership to have it checked over. If it is not the jack, you may have to check if the drivers for the speakers are installed properly. If everything is fine, and if the jack is working, then there may be a problem with the speakers.

I hope this answered your question!

Thank you for your suggestion Mr./Ms. SuryaZ.. My father also suspects the audio jack was the problem.. Just to make sure, I'll bring it to an Acer Dealer and I'll have it checked.. Thank you again..
