After formatting the hard disk can i get back

Hello
my computer is a compaq presario pc SR5125CL Window Vista home premium. i think i had formatted the hard disk and i wanted to go back to my initial windows that came with the factory setting. i would like if there are any other ways that i canget back to my previous version.
My computer did not came with windows vista cd, how do i get if i want the cd that has the factory setting system of the computer that i bought and i did not created a recovery disk.

Why don't you try and phone them to get a cd?

should i phone the shop where i bought the computer and ask them the cd with the factory setting of my computer. i guess i have lost the receipt but i have the guidance book which came with the computer. so i would like to know where i should try to phone to get the cd.
