How to handle linked cells?

Hello,

I am trying to get this formula to work: =IF(T8=0,"100% with PO",T8&" days, NET")

T8 is linked to another table and contains the following: ='C:\XSalesTrack\[address merge.xls]Address Merge'!$V$2

So, my "IF" formula does not work because it does not reads zero because of the link. If i enter "0" in the linked cell, it will return " 0 dys NET" instead of "100% with the order"

If anyone can help me, it will be appreciated. Thank you.
