How to filter dates

Hi!
When I use advanced filter for dates, I can easily set the filter for example to show the dates after or before a certain year. But how can I set the filter to show the dates between two dates?

is it autofilter or advance filter. advance filter may give unique dtes
autofilter will you give you dates between two dates
what is your version of excel
2003 or earlier or 2007 and later
see help in the version you have
