Samsung R525 Laptop, Back screen when powered on.

Hello,

We have a Samsung R525 laptop here that a customer was having an issue with. I'm not sure if they have handled it with care but there seems to be a hardware issue.

When the laptop turns on, I see all the power signs come on, but there remains a black screen. I have drained the power from the laptop (unplugged the battery & cord, then held the power button down for 30 seconds), and the issue remains the same.

Besides possibly replacing the screen, is there another way to trouble shoot?

Try connecting to a external monitor. If it works on a external monitor problem is with the inverter or LCD flex cable
