Hello,
I have a 160gb hard drive from a HP Pavilian a520n and put this in a ACER ASPIRE model AS6400 comp. For some reason i cant format more than 31gb hard drive space. Any ideas on why this is? The acer is quite old. Please help Thank you.

Windows XP won't let you format a volume bigger than 32GB with FAT32. Try using NTFS.
