Pendrive could not open

Hello,

My pendrive is not opening. when i double click it, it asks for formatting. but i'm not able to format either. because it says, it is write protected. i dont understand .. what can i do to solve this problem ? i have important data in my pendrive please help.

Hi rosysh,

As per you description it seems the pen drive is write protected. There is a workaround for this problem. Check the steps in the below mentioned link and see if this resolves the problem:
