I set my audio drivers with conexant high defination audio drivers on my compaq persario c795 TU but I cant see any functions of audio, when I mute the audio from volume control I hear the sound I dont know how?.....& when I attach the Microphone I hear the sound from both laptop speakers & microphone please tell me the solution for this

my laptop is Dell Inspirion 1525. operating system is winxp professional.all drivers are installed .when I use yahoo messanger call button is not coming. so I cann't contact any one through my mic. so pls. help me
