Hello,

How can you easily update an Excel workbook that already is using Macros? I need to insert two columns but once I do, I receive errors. There is about 90 pages of 'behind the scenes' programming for the Macros. The author of the file is no longer available.

Hard to answer without knowing how macro is written and are being used.
Perhaps most easy approach that might work would be add the new columns at the end of the existing columns.

Unfortunately, a macro establishes an area and adding a column is contained inside this area and returns an error. This worksheet is to match column headers in another worksheet. I added same column headers in all worksheets to be consistent, yet it still returns an error. Thanks for the reply and idea!

if you can upload a sample file at some public file share site like speedyshare and post back link to file back here, one can see what can be done

I won't be able to sanitize this file to save on a public site. Thanks for your help! I may just go ahead and recreate another workbook to do the same this one does. Happy Holidays.

Well see if posting a book with headers/ sheets names and macro is possible without the data itself. If not, well then good luck with your issue and Happy Holidays to you too
