Hello,

I have list of 1000 company names in col A and in col B 20,000 company names. I would like to know if the company in A appears anywhere in B and show result in C. ? eg

CNA Group Pte Ltd CNA Group Pte. Ltd. CNA Group Pte. Ltd.

Use This Formula in column C

=Vlookup(A:A,B:B,1,False).

If company Name Appears in Column C Means the company Exist in column B and if #N/A Appears that mean this company name is not in Column B.

I think its too exact. Although the companys name is the same the addition of full-stops in col b has to be taken into account ?
