Create 2nd recovery disk problem

i m using HP Pavilon G6 HVING WINDOW 7 LEGAL,
i hd a windows recovery disk bt it got damage ,so i want to make the other one recovery disk,
i have try the method -->
Set the folder options to allow viewing of hidden files and folders and show known file extensions.

Search for the following file: hpcd.sys

There will be 2 copies,1 in C:\WINDOWS\SMINST and 1 in E:\

Delete both copies of the hpcd.sys files.

Run the HP recovery disk creation utility.
bt i didnt got any file in search "hpcd.sys" in c: OR in D:
so what shoud i do know??? ,
there is only folder in d: drive,> named "~MSSETUP.T" and a file recovery.exe only.
plz help me....

see if you can use recovery manager before your comp boots or restore from window un recovery manager sometimes on certain hp comp you can do this search your model number on there site for recovery then do factory defaults restore then try making another set of recovery disks
