Hello, I am new to this. I have a windows 7 home addition that I am trying to fix. It automatically shuts down and I can very rarely get it to go into safemode. When it trys to start up in normal mode it tells me there is an error explorer.exe and gives a code with a bunch of zeros and a 22 at the end. I do not have a back up cd. My question is is there a windows 7 os backup or free registary fix that I do not have to buy to try and fix this?
Thanks
Thanks

Hello,
Try this 1
1) When you switch ON your PC, keep tapping the "F8" key to get "Windows
Advanced Options"( if boot menu appears, press "Esc" key and keep tapping the
F8 key).
2) Select the option "Last Known Good Configuration".
If the problem still exists then follow the Step 1 and then select the option
"Repair Your Computer". Follow the instructions. When "System Recovery
Options" appear --> Select the option "Startup Repair".
You can also try "System Restore" from the "System Recovery Options".
Good Luck
