Hi,
i imagine you're trying to access your router via the web browser interface?
I imagine, because windows 8 uses internet explorer 10 that there is a compatibility issues.
Press ALT on your keyboard and it will give you a menu up at the top.
Click on Tools and click on Compatibility mode.
Try again and let me know.
