Make iso from upgrade download?

Hello,
I bought the Win8 download, in hopes that it would be an iso file that I could burn to disk, and then, if and when I wanted, install it on one of my Windows systems, but instead, all I have is a file with lots of letters and numbers for a title. Is there any way to make a
bootable install disk out of that?
