Hello,


I was using my laptop and is has been fine,I did notice that sometimes when I attached the ac cord it wasn't indicating that it was charging. Now I have a black screen and can't power up. It does go on but shut off right away. The battery, power and plug lights are on. I have tried several things,taking the battery out and just the ac to power up and visa versa. It there anything else,I have also tried the f8 key and nothing. Also tried the 0 button while turning on.

Hi basia1023,

Different Laptop Models have different built-in diagnostic indicators. To diagnose the problem correctly please reply with the exact System Model Number of your laptop. In addition to this please try the below mentioned steps as well:

1. Power off the computer.
2. Remove the AC adapter and battery from the computer.
3. Remove any peripherals or external devices connected to the computer.
4. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds to release any Flea Power/Static Electricity in the machine.
5. Connect only the AC adapter and check if the computer powers on.
