Toshiba laptop black screen

Hello,
I was checking my RAM to see if I could add RAM so I removed the RAM i had in my system and then put it back in and now my screen is black and one just one of the lights is not blinking? I could use some help I hae a Toshiba satelite L455

Hello

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds

3. Replug and boot

Im having the same problem and nothing is working. I have tried all the tricks listed here. Now its telling me cable connection is not working and something about pick a boot method.??? Help computer is only 5 months old. No lights blinking for me and sometimes the screen doesnt come on at all now.

Hello Kathy

Since your laptop is only 5 months old, it's still under warranty. I strongly suggest that you contact Toshiba by phone or see the technicians at the store where you purchased it.
