1. Remove the battery and cable.
2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds
3. Replug and boot

Im having the same problem and nothing is working. I have tried all the tricks listed here. Now its telling me cable connection is not working and something about pick a boot method.??? Help computer is only 5 months old. No lights blinking for me and sometimes the screen doesnt come on at all now.

Since your laptop is only 5 months old, it's still under warranty. I strongly suggest that you contact Toshiba by phone or see the technicians at the store where you purchased it.
