Unexpected T_STRING, expecting ',' or ';'

Hello,

i m trying to do....

echo '<td><select name="selectrights" id="selectrights" ><option>view</option><option>admin</option></select></td>';

echo '<td><input name="checkedit" id="checkedit" type="checkbox" onchange="<script type='text/javascript'>document.getElementById('selectrights').disabled=this.checked;</script>"</td>';


Then the above error is showing in the second line . Please tell me what to do? i m really helpless.
