Hi,

you just have to use free antivirus application, so you'll don't have to pay to update it :-)

use Microsoft Security Essentials if you use Windows like I do. No cost from Microsoft.

I have found good way.

Try to Check Update your windows. NOTE : NOT UPGRADE.

Update for Microsoft Essentials will contain in Important Updates.

But Update for Virus,Malware,Spyware Definitions of Microsoft Essentials will show in Optional Updates.
