Pen drive detected but not working

i'v a 4gb pen drive which is detecting in all computers where I connect it, but no memory is showing, I had try to format it by my computer which shows that there is no disk in drive G,insert a disk & try again, as well as by using the following tool as per ur suggetion on foroum, https://ccm.net/downloads/tools/4639-hp-usb-disk-storage-format-tool/ , used but the massage showing that there is no media in the specified device, when tried to quick format. please help.

You wrote that you used a tool "as per your suggestion". To whom are you referring to ?

Your pen drive may be virused.

Here is a tool to remove the virus and vaccinate your USB against further viruses.


Download UsbFix (created by El Desaparecido) on your desktop.

If your antivirus gives an alert, ignore it and temporarily deactivate the antivirus.
Plug in your usb devices (Flash drive, pen drive. External HD etc...) don't open them.
Double click sur UsbFix.exe.

Click on deletion

Let the tool work.

At the end of the scan a report will show which you can copy and paste here..

The report is save at the root ( C:\UsbFix.txt ).

You can also vaccinate against any virus.
