Hello,
Try this 1
First remove the "Work Offline" from the browser by going to "File --> Work
Offline.
If the problem still exists then make sure you are getting the IP address from
your router. Try establishing the connection once again by entering the SSID,
Security etc.
Disable your antivirus \ firewall and check if you are able to browse.
If the problem still exists then let me know your router brand name and model
number.

Problem solved
I first reset the date with a system restore
That brought me to a 'sign in' to my wifi router and LUCKILY i had written down the SSID and password.
Problem solved. I don't understand WHY/IF the repair facility changed my router settings .... maybe they did to test my laptop on their system
