tap two times the touch pad area where you can see yellow light...

This can be due to loss of S/W libraries required for it being automatically uninstalled with another uninstallation. If you have done so reinstalling that software would help.
Otherwise if youused to hibernate your PC, that might be an issue. In that case you can shutdown the lap and when you reboot it should work.

have ya tried to contact ur vendor? use a mouse for the time being its much more easier
