Cant format my usb

plz help me my kingstone usb (DT 101 G2 usb drive)can not be format when ever i format it the msg was appear that "this window can not complet this formating" i am use window 7

do yo know system formatting procedure?
if so, do the following
enter your usb in to the slot

make first boot device cd rom
then insert xp cd and restart

with in three or four steps there comes partition part
you can see your pen drive's size there

select it and delete it

then restart and remove xp cd
