hi,i have tried ipconfig /flushdns but still any of the webbrowser:mozilla,IE,chrome,opera could not open page despite i am connected wit the internet. any idea pls what the problem is.my laptop is compaq 32-bit os with windows-7

This problem, viz. "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error in Internet Explorer, occurs due to various reasons. There is a series of fixes provided by Microsoft for this issue. Please check the below mentioned "Microsoft Knowledge Base Article" for step by step instructions:
