not going very deep on this about using recovery tools and trying to fix the problem, let us first try get your photos out of it. for that i want you to open command prompt and try and access memory disc from there. if you can then copy them to computer.
HOW to access memory card/flash drive from command prompt
1: open command prompt by clicking on run and typing CMD followed by enter
2: command prompt would open by default on c:\windows\system32\ or your current user profile
3: type in your devices drive letter for example X: and press enter
4: check if the files are in there using DIR command
5: if yes copy them to any folder on computer using copy <drive letter>:\ c:\<your folder>\
if not helpful, get back here and we will try something else
