How to find out two words matching with one additional Number

Hi.. Please tell me how to find out matching two words with only one differnce. If Two Columns of Excel contains Data like Vehcile Numbers MH01A123 and MH1A123 here the only Zero added in first number.
Please reply which function in Excel suits to trace the same.

What do you want to achieve?
Do you want to remove the 0 from the first or add to the second number?
Is it always the third character?
Is it always a 0?
Can there be a 0 in the rest of the number?
