Hi friends,
I got a virus that caused my folders become shortcuts and on clicking them it is showing g:\.Trashes\b3fdadef.com can't be opened by windows.

It is due to virus in your computer.
You need to update your antivirus or just install a newly downloaded free antivirus.

Those shortcut folders are useless and can be deleted. Your original folders are hidden in the same location. You can unhide them by going in
Windows XP
>> My Computer
>> tools
>> folder options
>> view tab
>> check on show hidden files
>> uncheck hide protected operating system files

You can undo whole process if you don't want to see hidden files

okay the hidden files did show up and they are working thankfully ... but the question is how to get them back un-hidden???? ... its seems like they became one of the operating files that cant be modified ...
