Outlook 2007 wont recieve mail

HI,
I recently changed my OS and then had to install microsoft-office, when i configured my outlook, it does not download any inboxes yet on my other devices i see that the mails have come, funny thing is i can send mail through outlook, am now techie plz help me sort this out
