did you check windows installer service status ?
this is how you can do it.
Step 1 : press windows logo + R "from anywhere"
Step 2: run box will open type services.msc and press enter
Step 3 : list of all the available services would open, locate windows installer and double click on it
Step 4 : under windows installer properties, check its status on general section
If it shows running there and you can stop/restart it, there something else seems to be wrong there.
Still Try unregister and re-register windows installer
this is how you can do it
Step 1: press windows logo + R "from anywhere"
Step 2 : type msiexex /unregister in run box and press enter
Step 3 : press windows logo + R "from anywhere" again
Step 4: type msiexec /regserver in run box and press enter
try install Quickheal now, let us know it it helps
