TV has no sound output when hooked up to HDMI

I know this question has been asked a million times and I've done just about everything that was listed in any other forum but nothing has worked. The sound was working a few weeks ago and now it's not. I don't know what's wrong.

It displays that I have sound coming out of my AMD and the picture shows up just fine but I can not actually hear any sound coming out of my TV. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Let us know the operating system you are using. Your laptop brand name and complete model number.
