Why does my laptop keep shutting off bro

Hello, so one day I was using my laptop and it just shut of on me out of no where. It wasn't hot or anything and ever since then it continues to do it. Its very random and annoying. I could go hours without it shutting off and then boom its off. Then when I turn it on it would recommend me to do the system repair thing. And it still continues. Do I have a virus or is there some solution to this.please help!

you need to perform a hard drive self test on this computer.. because if the computer is shutting down frequently for no reason,, it can be a problem with the hard drive as well
