Hello everyone,

I have few problem with my external harddisk.

1) My harddisk cannot be accessed a few days ago. But I could find it in command prompt and disk management but I just cant access it. When I open MyComputer, it will be there but I cannot open and in the properties it shows 0 volume and 0 space. I didn't format the drive because I knew I can recover the siles back.
Now I cannot find my external harddisk in my computer. The safely remove my hardware icon can be seen in the lower right corner of the screen.

Regards

I've done that and I cannot see the external drive partition. It has got Disk 1, unalllocated sign at the below part. For the on top part, it only has C drive.

Hi,

I've done as you say. Uninstall drive in device manager and scan for hardware changes.
The problem still persist. I'm afraid the hard-disk is gone. Is there any chance for me to get back the hard-disk with it's content in it??
